Those that knew and loved Ohio Jim have lost a very dear friend. He will be sadly missed around the music rooms of Paltalk in the coming days, but we that knew Jim know that he wouldn't want us being sad at his death.

J a mes Edward Erick, 59, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday Dec. 30, 2006, at Fairfield Medical Center. James was a member of the Lancaster V.F.W. post 1516 and AMVETS post 1985.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Darlene; daughters, Kimberly Fannin of Lancaster and Kara (Duane) Strosnider of Lancaster; grandchildren, Kindra Fannin, Hayley Fannin, Casey Strosnider and Keith Graves; one aunt; and two uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Wanda Withem. Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster, with Randy Hutchison officiating. Friends and family may visit from 2-4 and 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation will follow. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made in James' name to Fairhope Hospice, 1111 E. Main St., Lancaster, OH 43130.
